There is something attractive and interesting about prophecies and the prophetic word, it can excite you and make you feel like you are about to receive that manifestation within that minute or the next day.
However, Prophecies are not meant to entertain and excite the one receiving it. Prophecies are meant to be fulfilled. When God speaks to a Prophet it is not meant to give you a good feeling for some days, God is saying something he is willing or about to make manifest, but it depends on You!
The manifestation of a Prophecy depends on the faith of the receiver. So what is Faith then? Having absolutely confidence in Gods word. So the manifestation of the Prophecy lies in the amount of Gods word in a man’s heart. The amount of Gods word in our hearts is the amount of Gods word that we believe. The emphasis is on the heart not the mind. God can speak through scriptures, phrases, and various thoughts that He gives.
Apostle Paul’s words in [1 Timothy 1:18] outline what we ought to do with Prophecies. We are supposed to battle them into manifestation. Prophecies won’t just happen like that. We must make it manifest with the word of God according to our faith in it.
We need to go to God in prayers and reemphasize it that God this is your word, make it manifest in my life for you have said it through your servant and I believe your word. You don’t receive a Prophecy and fold your arms waiting for it to just happen. You will wait! It’s important to know that prophecies and the prophetic Word from God are meant for affirmation and confirmation.
When you receive a Prophecy be very watchful of your confession. You can receive a word from the Lord, but your mouth will kill it manifestation. Your doubt and unbelief can resist it’s manifestation, that’s why the angel of the Lord made Zachariah dumb. [cf. Luke 1:13-17, 18-20]
The next time you receive a Prophecy, act accordingly, Pray it, Speak it, and Believe it! Do all this and you’ll definitely see it manifestation and realization.
Yours In Christ, Shalom.
